Breaking Out Of The Obamacare Prison? —President May Issue Executive Order

From yesterday’s Press Gaggle (scroll down)– –

“Q Are you considering an executive order?

THE PRESIDENT: I am considering an executive order on associations, and that will take care of a tremendous number of people with regard to healthcare. And I’ll probably be signing a very major executive order where people can go out, cross state lines, do lots of things, and buy their own healthcare. And that will be probably signed next week. It’s being finished now. It’s going to cover a lot of territory and a lot of people — millions of people.” (Highlighting added.)

GOP Fumbles Free Speech: Trump WH & VA Rep Comstock, or Breitbart’s Kassam, & Monica Morrill?

UPDATE September 16, 2017!  Raheem Kassam: “POTUS Signs ‘Anti-Hate’ Resolution, a Major Assault on America’s First Amendment. . .DACA wasn’t the biggest win for the swamp-left this week.” Read more here !
* * * * * * * * * *

“This afternoon [last Wednesday], White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed President Trump would ‘absolutely’ be signing a resolution drafted by Republican and Democrat lawmakers ‘condemning’ hatred. ‘He and [Senator Tim Scott] talked about that and discussed that and agreed that that was the appropriate place to be,’ Sanders said. ‘In terms of whether or not he’ll sign the joint resolution, absolutely, and he looks forward to doing so as soon as he receives it.’ But the resolution is manifestly a ruse — the first line of attack in a new wave of assaults against free speech in America.”  Raheem Kassam
“Thus far in the United States saying ‘I hate’ something is not a crime, yet in H.Res. 257 put forward by Barbara Comstock, ‘Condemning hate crime and any other form of racism, religious or ethnic bias, discrimination, incitement to violence, or animus targeting a minority in the United States,’ criminalizes free speech.” Monica Morrill

“EMGAGE declares ‘Mission Accomplished’ during Muslim Hill Day to thank Rep. Comstock for her support of H.Res. 257, anti-hate crime legislation” via Monica Morrill

Geographer and analyst Monica Morrill raised the alarm about northern Virginia Republican Representative Barbara Comstock’s sponsorship of anti-free speech legislation  —

  • “The question then becomes, who defines ‘hate speech’ if it is to be forbidden? Laws that push out free speech, regardless of agreement, do not promote understanding in debate but rather confusion. An attempt to muzzle any speech is a cowardly act of avoiding critical thinking and debate, not to mention it’s contradicting the First Amendment. S.Res. 118 gives minority groups ammunition to suppress the natural rights of free speech of the other. Brigette Gabriel shares the shocking details in her Breitbart article, Betrayal: Republicans Push Anti-Free Speech Bill Written by Islamic Terror-Linked Groups. So, it appears that left-leaning Muslim organizations such as EMGAGE, Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), and the All Dulles Area Muslim Society Center (ADAMS Center) will likely be at the helm defining what hate speech is intolerable for some against others.”
  • “Why did this resolution even come to be earlier this year? The bills [S.Res. 118 and H.Res. 257] were drafted by Muslim organizations: The Muslim Public Affairs Counsel, and EMGAGE. If you start connecting the dots, I believe you will come to the conclusion that the purpose of these organizations is to replace the constitutional right to free speech with Sharia law, prohibits defamation and blasphemy against Islam. These organizations are cleverly criminalizing speech. Read very carefully what the Senate Resolution says. ‘Condemning hate crime and any other form of racism, religious or ethnic bias … (emphasis added)’ The phrase, ‘Any other form,’ undoubtedly refers to speech when read in the context of the resolution.”

On Wednesday, Breitbart London Editor-in-Chief  Raheem Kassam declaredThe Swamp Just Bounced Trump Into A European-Style Assault on Free Speech”!

Most important, he reminded readers – – –

“Many Americans don’t seem to appreciate as much as outside admirers do, that the United States is the only country in the world with a commitment to free speech enshrined in the nation’s Constitution. Many nations do not even have codified constitution of which to speak.”

Kassam explains – –

  • “The five page document [link added, S.J. Res. 49 signed by president yesterday] the President is now committed to signing refers to violence on the side of Neo Nazi protesters, but fails to mention Antifa, or any other leftist-inspired violence, including but not limited to the Bernie Sanders supporter who recently attempted to murder Republican congressmen.”
  • “It demands signatories ‘speak out against hate groups that espouse racism, extremism, xenophobia, anti-Semitism, and White supremacy’ — laudable aims were it not for the fact that the political left has abused and debased these terms, effectively stripping them of all meaning.
  • “Today, a ‘racist’ is someone who believes in legal immigration. An ‘extremist’ is someone who doesn’t believe in mass, state-funded abortion. A ‘xenophobe’ is someone who takes pride in their nation. An ‘anti-Semite’ is — curiously — someone who supports the State of Israel, and ‘white supremacy’ now occupies the Oval Office. The Overton window has shifted so far that even practicing Muslims are now decried by the most heavily quoted sources as ‘Islamophobes.'”
  • “Speaking of Islamophobia, why has that been left out of this resolution? Will there be — as Islamic supremacists often demand — a special case and motion for Muslims alone, to go before the President later this year? Will the White House be equally excited to sign what would effectively be a blasphemy law?”
  • “Perhaps the most insidious part of this document comes right at the end, where the President will accede to ensuring ‘the heads of other Federal agencies… improve the reporting of hate crimes and… emphasize the importance of the collection, and… reporting to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, of hate crime data by State and local agencies‘”.

Patriots should let both the Kassam and Merrill posts sink in — then contrive to derail schemes that menace our basic freedoms of speech and assembly.

Angelo Codevilla — Learned Exposer of the “Ruling Class” — Yesterday Declares “America needs a true alternative to our ruling Uni-party, a true second party.”

As we wrote back on July 5, 2015 in our Codevilla Strikes Again —

“Many readers will recall Angelo Codevilla’s magisterial 2010 American Spectator article ‘America’s Ruling Class —And the Perils of Revolution’ (click here).

Through this article and follow-on posts, Codevilla has sharpened the political understanding of many American conservatives.”

We are now confronted by the national Antifa Revolutionary Movement as well as a White House Machine apparently inept at fixing the central concerns of those who elected our president.

Yesterday, in the midst of these and other threats to the Republic, Angelo Codevilla declared (Washington Times) in his “Replacing the Republican Party” that

America needs a virile alternative to the present mess”!

Here are some key extracts from Codevilla’s current post — but one should read it all to digest his recommendations!

Having refused to repeal Obamacare, the Republican Party is dead, as was the Whig Party in 1854 after it colluded in the passage of the Kansas-Nebraska Act which opened these territories to slavery. Republican majorities in both Houses of Congress as well as control of legislatures and governorships in 26 states veil the fact that, in 2017, there are no longer reasons to vote Republican any more than there were to vote Whig after 1854.”
In 1854, the Whig Party finished itself off because its support of Kansas-Nebraska was the last in a long line of acquiescences to the Democratic Party’s agenda regarding slavery and expansion. Obamacare is a principal part of what Democratic rule imposed on America. By embracing it in 2017, the Republican Party removed any prospect that it might serve as an alternative to Democratic rule.”
Today’s America does not need a ‘third party.’ When Congressional Republicans and Democrats together affirmed Obamacare; as they set about financing the health insurance industry in explicit contradiction of law; as every branch of the permanent government continues to have its unaccountable way with Americans; as a foreign policy of indecisive warfare continues despite popular opposition, there is no doubt that today’s America is ruled by a single ruling party and that the Republican Party is part of that party rather than an alternative to it. Why vote Republican when that results, rhetoric aside, in being governed as by Democrats? America needs a true alternative to our ruling Uni-party, a true second party.”
“The New Party would be about returning America to the rule of law under the Constitution. That would mean rolling back the judicial-administrative state that is restricting economic activity, religious freedom and imposing an alien morality on America.”
“There is no doubt that the New Party’s core would be formed by people who currently label themselves Republican, just as the original Republicans were mostly re-labeled Whigs, or that the new party would pursue much of what the Republicans have purported to pursue, just as the original Republicans pursued much of the old Whigs’ agenda.”
“The crucial difference, now as 160 years ago, is that the New Party would cast aside its links to the establishment, would incorporate new concerns, and that it would mean what it said.
Were such a New Party to present a presidential candidate in 2020, the only certainty is that the Republican Party’s standard bearer would receive fewer popular votes than either the Democratic Party’s or the New Party’s candidates. Since neither of these two would likely receive a majority of electoral votes, the House of Representatives would have to choose between them, each state casting one vote. The majority of states have a majority of Republican Congressmen. Whoever of these voted for the Democrat would cut himself off from his district. Whoever voted for the New Party candidate would thereby be applying for membership. (Highlighting and underscoring added.)

Of course, grass-roots Republicans should meet to consider Codevilla’s recommendations, as well as Rich Higgins’ warnings in his  “POTUS and Political Warfare”.

These are documents immediately relevant to our freedom and our safety.

We all know that — sadly — many of the agendas of local and state Republican groups are too often tightly controlled by the local GOP Establishment and by local GOP incumbents.

Consequently local Trump Movements must contrive ways to bring together grass-roots Republicans and conservatives for genuine discussion and action. Trump Movements must promptly craft ways to respond to the perilous situations Codevilla, Higgins, and others spell out.

“POTUS and Political Warfare” Spells Out The Peril Patriots Face Today! Grassroots–From Local GOP Committees To Statewide Meetings — Must Take The Time To Discuss This

“Republican LeadershipMore afraid of being accused of being called a racist, sexist, homophobe or Islamophobe than of failing to enforce their oaths to ‘support and defend the Constitution,’ the Republican Establishment accepts and enforces cultural Marxist memes within its own sphere of operations. In doing so, knowingly or not, it becomes an agent of that. These ‘conservatives’ become increasingly indistinguishable from their democratic counter-parts save that they misrepresent themselves to their constituents. Lacking the discernment to recognize their situation, they will work with globalists, corporatists, and the international financial interests and will likewise service the deep state. These establishment Republicans are the hard left’s designated defeat mechanism in the destruction of the old regime as well as the American ideal. Because candidate Trump publicly exposed them for their duplicitous activities, they are at risk as long as Trump can turn on them and are, therefore, bitter foes. Candidate Trump’s success remains an ongoing existential threat to establishment Republicans.” — “POTUS and Political Warfare” by Rich Higgins  (Highlighting added throughout.)

Last week Mike Cernovich wrote – –

“Read the Politically Incorrect Memo that Triggered McMaster”
“H.R. McMaser fired brilliant military strategist Rich Higgins for criticizing radi[c]al Islam. Finally you can read the full memo and decide for yourself whether Trump should keep McMaster as National Security Adviser.”

But Higgins’ “POTUS and Political Warfare” is far more than a national-security document – – it is a lucid exposition of what not only president Trump faces but what all of us must now confront.

“End State. Attacks on President Trump are not just about destroying him, but also about destroying the vision of America that lead to his election. Those individuals and groups seeking the destruction of President Trump actually seek to suffocate the vision of America that made him president. Hence, the end state is not just a delegitimized, destabilized, immobilized and possibly destroyed presidency; but also a demoralized movement composed of a large enough bloc to elect a president that subsequently become self-aware of its own disenfranchisement.”

We all just saw this savage political warfare waged against the president after Charlottesville last Saturday – – consequently Higgins’ analysis is right on point!

So click here or here — then read it all!

Remember We Have The Moral High Ground! Watch “The Deep State War on Trump” Video

Paul Joseph Watson:”The real story behind the Russia hysteria”!

Click here to see the video!

For those who wish to support Donald Trump and make his presidency a success, Watson’s video is an essential tool.

Remember the attacks on Flynn and Sessions are just the opening round.

Daniel Greenfield declares (highlighting added)–

“But their goal is to isolate Trump within his own administration by swapping out advisers and cabinet members with unconventional views for old hands with much more conventional ones.
The formula is easy. Smear or dig up some dirt.
Then you swap out Flynn, who was pretty clear on Islam, for McMasters, who will lecture Trump on the danger of saying ‘Radical Islamic terrorism’ because it alienates Muslims.”
. . . . . . . . .
“Go after Gorka and you can bring in somebody who will emphasize how ISIS has hijacked a great religion.
Take out Sessions and you can replace him with somebody much friendlier to amnesty and Islamic migration.
The Dems will put up a hard fight over some nominees, even when they’re not all that conservative, if there is a special interest, e.g. the teachers’ unions, that cares. But this kind of smear campaign that we are seeing is reserved for Trump people who are outside the usual Dem-Pub consensus because they hold realistic views on Islam or illegal immigration.

Take out enough of these guys, replace them with Bush people, and you end up with a much ‘safer’ administration.”

Paul Joseph Watson’s video is the kind of blunt, continual messaging we need to advance Trump Principles in the midst of MSM, Deep State, and Red-Green Axis attacks.

Loudoun HS Students Protest President’s “Foreign Terrorist” XO–They Are Entitled To Their Own Opinion But Not To A Lack Of Understanding Of Our Institutions And History

LoudounNow’s Danielle Nadler reports that last FridayHundreds of Loudoun Students ‘Walk Out’ in Support of Immigrants”–

“After watching the confusion and fear that followed President Donald Trump’s travel restrictions on refugees and travelers from seven Muslim-majority countries, Rida Ali felt the need to do something.
The 16-year-old Ashburn resident is a first generation American. Her mother is from Yemen and her father from Pakistan. She took to Twitter and suggested to a few of her friends that they plan a ‘walk out,’ to leave class for 10-15 minutes to make a statement about how empty the school—the nation, really—would be without immigrants or descendants of immigrants.
What she didn’t expect was that hundreds of students would join her on campuses throughout Loudoun County. ‘It spread so far,’ she said. ‘I had no idea that any other school was going to do this.’
Walk outs were reported this afternoon at least eight Loudoun County high schools. Four of the largest demonstrations took place at Briar Woods, Rock Ridge, Potomac Falls and Broad Run, where Ali is a junior. The school system reported that, in total, 619 students participated in the walk out.”

Loudoun County, Virginia may have the best high-school civics and US history classes available, and may indeed require every student to take them.  But for the sake of our discussion, let’s stipulate that their high-school civics and US history are top of the line.

Loudoun County, after all, “has been ranked first in the United States in median household income among jurisdictions with a population of 65,000 or more.”

Weighing The Merits Of An Issue Versus “Virtue Signaling”

The demonstrating students, however, seem to base their objections to the president’s Executive Order on vacuities–

“a statement about how empty the school—the nation, really—would be without immigrants or descendants of immigrants” or “America is more than ‘just white'”

But simply expressing solidarity with classmates through “virtue signaling” doesn’t make a case.

Profile in Courage–Broad Run High School: senior Vinnie Sack. [Danielle Nadler/Loudoun Now]

Perhaps parents and teachers could guide the demonstrators to fresh sources — enabling them to look deeper into some serious concerns about immigration policy and assimilation.

First, of course, one should read the full text of the Executive Order, including its fact-gathering provisions.  As we pointed out in an earlier story, Reports Required in Trump’s Refugee Executive Order Can Tell Americans “What’s Going On” With Our Immigrants & Visitors!

Here are six such expert voices —

“We need to move beyond the ‘are we targeting Muslims’ nonsense and get to the critical question: How do we embrace our Islamic friends while excluding our sharia-supremacist enemies?”
As McCarthy explained in an earlier story, “Of Course There Should be an Ideological Test in Immigration”–
You are not supposed to realize that aliens are expected to exhibit fidelity to this constitutional framework as a precondition to joining our society. You are not supposed to know that there is an Islamic law, sharia, that has far more to do with governance, economics, warfare, civil rights, domestic relations, criminal prosecution, and fashion than it does with spiritual life. And you are absolutely not supposed to grasp that sharia is antithetical to the Constitution, to the very foundational American principle that the people may make law for themselves, live as they see fit, and chart their own destiny. You are not supposed to connect the dots and ask, ‘Well, how is it conceivable that any sharia-adherent alien could faithfully pledge allegiance to our Constitution?’”
“Patriotic integration versus multicuturalism is a moral issue. America’s decision on how to integrate newcomers—through patriotic assimilation (traditional Americanization) or the contemporary approach of multiculturalism-group consciousness—is a moral issue that will define the character of our citizenship and our constitutional democracy.”
“A review of information compiled by a Senate committee in 2016 reveals that 72 individuals from the seven countries covered in President Trump’s vetting executive order have been convicted in terror cases since the 9/11 attacks.”
  • Then-senator, now Attorney General, Jeff Sessions told us in 2015 of the extent of immigration to the US–
“Immigration Adds 1 New Los Angeles Every 3 Years”
  • And finally scholar Stella Morabito warns parents and students Today’s Riot-Prone Mobs Are A Product Of America’s Cult-Like Education System !
“By high school too many are become dependent upon their overlords in the education establishment telling them what to say, what to believe, what to do: Go into the streets to protest Trump’s inauguration! . . . Get a degree in pseudo-studies. Don’t read classics (Eeewwww, dead white guys.)”

Free men and women, in our view, welcome robust debate among those with various perspectives.

Patriots should disdain servile “safe spaces.”

The sources we suggest may or may not change the demonstrators’ minds, but grappling with this material will enable them to frame their views as serious young citizens.

UPDATED! Organize–The Now-Indispensable Role Of The Trump Movement!

UPDATE FEBRUARY 9!  The Spirit of America: Conservative Grassroots Leaders Plan Massive Pro-Trump Demonstrations Nationwide
Breitbart’s Matthew Boyle reveals “Conservative grassroots leaders are planning a series of massive pro-President Donald Trump rallies nationwide, Breitbart News has learned exclusively. On Feb. 27 and March 4, the rallies—dubbed the Spirit of America Rallies—will spring up nationwide in cities and towns across America.”
* * * * * * * * *

Nearly a month ago we declared

The extent and intensity of the pushback against president-elect Donald Trump — even before he takes office on Friday, January 20 — tells patriots what America barely escaped from a Hillary Clinton victory: completion of the Obama transformation of America!

And not just more open borders and more job-killing trade deals and the acceleration of Muslim refugee importation.

But a Clinton Administration intent on using Federal power to impose even more Cultural Marxism on our state and local governments!

Think consent decrees on police departments (part of the “war on cops”) and the widespread implementation of Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH).

Now, post swearing in, the Organized Left is striking back — from inaugural demonstrations in Washington, D. C. to physical attacks on conservative speakers in Berkeley, California and New York City to previously unthinkable manipulations of our Federal courts.

All of this pushback has dominated the news cycles over the last two weeks.

Your GOP members of the Congress (House and Senate) and your GOP state leaders should now be continually and visibly speaking out for the president as Mr. Trump takes on the Washington Establishment to “drain the swamp” for all Americans.

In two states next to the national capital, 248,343 voters supported then-candidate Trump in the Maryland presidential primary and 356,840 voters supported then-candidate Trump in the Virginia presidential primary.

Surely these Trump Core voters can now organize to push their own state’s GOP to get behind the president’s program energetically.

The November 8, 2016 Trump victory has given Americans a last reprieve.

If we don’t take advantage of the time Donald Trump bought us, our country will continue to be “transformed” inexorably by the Obama-Clinton legacy.

Remember November 8 was just the beginning.

As Rush explained last Friday–

“It’s designed to dispirit you. It’s designed to depress you. It’s designed to make you think you’re never gonna really succeed at this. It’s designed to make you think that they’re gonna be able to get rid of Trump next week, next month. It’s designed to make you think they’re gonna make Trump cave. It’s designed to make you think they’re gonna tick Trump off so much, they’re gonna make even Trump think it can’t be done, he’s gonna throw up his hands and say, ‘You know what Pence, you can have it, I’m leaving.’
“Whatever they have to do to make you think this is a lost cause, they will do and they are doing. And it’s going to continue. And Trump is not going to slow down, and he’s not going to pull back. He’s going to continue. He’s got people around him who are not gonna slow down and who are not gonna pull back. And he the people he has around him are hell-bent on defeating these people and getting them out of the way.
. . . . . . . . . .
They still haven’t realized what’s hit them, I don’t think. They’re gonna make up polls, approval polls. They’re gonna try to tell you Trump’s the most unpopular president after three weeks that we’ve ever had in America. They’re gonna make you think that everybody that voted for Trump is abandoning him, except you. They want you to think you’re alone. They want you to think that your associates and like-minded voters have all abandoned you and you’re the only guy still pulling for Trump. You’re the only person out there still hoping and praying this all happens. They want to bust up the coalition. It is vicious. This is exactly what it has always been going to look like.”

If our president is to succeed, his supporters must come together and stay together to ensure that GOP leaders —from the Congress to state capitals come out of the shadows and speak loudly for his program!

Reports Required in Trump’s Refugee Executive Order Can Tell Americans “What’s Going On” With Our Immigrants & Visitors!

Breitbart’s Michael Patrick Leahy reported yesterday–

“President Trump signed an executive order late Friday which temporarily bars refugees from entering the United States.

Trump signed the order on refugees while at the Pentagon, minutes after General James Mattis was sworn in as Secretary of Defense by Vice President Mike Pence at a brief ceremony which the president attended.

The executive order, “Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry Into The United States,” contained these key elements:

  • Suspended the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program for 120 days, prohibiting the arrival of refugees into the United States from any country during that period
  • Ordered the Secretaries of State and Homeland Security to undertake a complete review of the refugee vetting process
  • Permanently banned Syrian refugees until President Trump determined otherwise, and
  • Lowered the ceiling of refugees allowed to enter the United States during FY 2017 to 50,000.”

But we should also celebrate these extraordinary transparency and reporting requirements in the Executive Order! (Highlighting added.)

“Sec. 10. Transparency and Data Collection. (a) To be more transparent with the American people, and to more effectively implement policies and practices that serve the national interest, the Secretary of Homeland Security, in consultation with the Attorney General, shall, consistent with applicable law and national security, collect and make publicly available within 180 days, and every 180 days thereafter:

(i) information regarding the number of foreign nationals in the United States who have been charged with terrorism-related offenses while in the United States; convicted of terrorism-related offenses while in the United States; or removed from the United  States based on terrorism-related activity, affiliation, or material support to a terrorism-related organization, or any other national security reasons since the date of this order or the last reporting period, whichever is later;

(ii) information regarding the number of foreign nationals in the United States who have been radicalized after entry into the United States and engaged in terrorism-related acts, or who have provided material support to terrorism-related organizations in countries that pose a threat to the United States, since the date of this order or the last reporting period, whichever is later; and

(iii) information regarding the number and types of acts of gender-based violence against women, including honor killings, in the United States by foreign nationals, since the date of this order or the last reporting period, whichever is later; and

(iv) any other information relevant to public safety and security as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security and the Attorney General, including information on the  immigration status of foreign nationals charged with major offenses.

(b) The Secretary of State shall, within one year of the date of this order, provide a report on the estimated long-term costs of the USRAP at the Federal, State, and local levels.”

These reports can build a wide base of public understanding and thus support for this major Trump initiative.

Transition Storm Warnings: Time For Movement Trumpers To Organize By State?

“There’s a famous story about President Franklin D. Roosevelt meeting with a group of progressive activists. They told him to pursue a certain political program. After the meeting, FDR supposedly said: ‘All right, you’ve convinced me. Now go out there and put pressure on me!’ I was reminded of this story when President-Elect Trump recently spoke in Ohio. He urged activists to fight just as hard for his policies as they did to put him in office. After all, what soon to be President Trump believes or doesn’t believe is less important than whether there is sufficient political pressure behind his agenda.” — James Kirkpatrick

As Donald Trump takes office, he needs his base pushing hard behind him to achieve his crucial campaign priorities.

Ann Coulter today tweeted the background bluntly –“Only 1 presidential candidate called for a wall. A Muslim ban. Deportation of illegals. His own party denounced him. He won in a landslide.”

Coulter pointed to “The Preibus-Trump power struggle.”

Conservative Review’s (CR) Daniel Horowitz suggested in a podcast that the Trump Transition was “making the Establishment great again”–

“Yet, somehow we take it as a given that in a Republican administration the most powerful cabinet pick — secretary of State — could be given to someone who is pro-Common Core, anti-sanctions, pro-carbon tax, anti-energy independence, and a leader in the homosexual agenda.
Now we hear that John Bolton might not be picked for deputy secretary of State, while liberals such as Elliot Abrams and Richard Haass are being considered instead.
This is part of a pattern of choosing the path to least resistance. Kris Kobach was passed over as DHS secretary and likely as deputy as well for the same reason.
Finally, we show how Democrats never surrender their principles even when they lose power. Why do we surrender ours when we win?
John Kasich won’t even fight for a pro-life bill because he refuses to stand up to the legal profession, yet liberals have no problem thwarting federal immigration law.” (Highlighting Forum’s throughout.)
(Senior Editor Horowitz also refers to Alex Isenstadt‘s & Kenneth P. Vogel’s Politico post, Divisions deepen inside Trump Tower.)

CR’s Jordan Schachtel reveals about the Secretary of State-designate that “America-last Rex Tillerson has quite a cozy relationship with the Islamic supremacist nation of Qatar”!

“Rex Tillerson’s Qatar is not the real Qatar. One is left to speculate: How many other dictatorial countries has he provided cover for in order to curry favor with their leaders?”

Last February Breitbart’s Julia Hahn exposed OMB chief-designate Mick Mulvaney as “Pro-Amnesty Mick Mulvaney: Immigration Most Important Issue To South Carolina Voters”–

“Moreover, video footage, captured during the height of the Gang of Eight amnesty push, reveals Mulvaney publicly demeaning his conservative constituents and colleagues, such as influential Iowa Congressman Rep. Steve King for opposing Rep. Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio’s agenda of mass amnesty—suggesting that such views are ‘absurd’ and ‘stupid.'”
. . . . . . . . . .
“Similarly, in a congressional hearing last year, Mulvaney criticized Heritage scholar Robert Rector, who is considered to be “the father of the 1996 welfare-reform law,” for providing U.S. lawmakers with factual evidence that granting amnesty to poor migrants would strain the nation’s federal welfare programs at the expense of Mulvaney’s own taxpaying constituents. Mulvaney vehemently objected to Rector’s analysis and suggested that admitting poor and uneducated migrants who are ‘literally starving to death’ in foreign countries would be a boon to America.

To pick two (one Blue, one Purple) states with which we have some familiarity, Maryland had 248,343 Trump primary supporters and Virginia had 356,840 Trump primary supporters. The GOP primary vote likely reflects the core Trump supporters in these two states.  Yet, in both states, the GOP Establishment disdained and was hostile to Trump although he won the Maryland primary and had a plurality in the Virginia primary.

ADD-ON December 21:  West Virginia — right next to Maryland and Virginia — had 157,238 Trump primary supporters or 77% of the GOP primary. Donald Trump carried West Virginia by 68.7 % in the general election winning every county.

Trump Patriots acting through their own well-organized statewide organizations can have a strong voice for the new president’s campaign priorities that will be heard by their Congressional delegations.

VDARE’s James Kirkpatrick elaborates

“Similarly, within the GOP, the critical need is to develop a crop of ‘Donald Trump Republicans’ at the local and state levels, running in his name and on the populist platform he campaigned for. Even if Trump himself does not explicitly endorse insurgent candidates, this can be explained away as simply something he has to do because of his position as head of the GOP. The debate should always be framed as though Trump wants populists to take over the GOP—even if he says nothing of the kind. This is a Narrative the Main Stream Media will be eager to believe and to magnify.”

One more Kirkpatrick insight – –

“Thus, the most effective way to rise against Trump, if it becomes necessary is to claim it is being done in his own name. In Imperial Russia, currently perhaps the most hated society among American intellectuals and journalists, there was supposedly the saying, ‘If only the Tsar knew!’ The presumption was if only the leader knew the extent of the problems that were being concealed from him by his wicked advisors, the people would be saved.”

Stay tuned as we track Trump Deplorables organizing!

RIOTS Are Not Healthy for Children And Other Living Things

War is not healthy

Anti-war-protest emblem of the Vietnam Era.

Back in the Vietnam War era, many idealistic friends were touched by an anti-war poster–a sunflower emblem that framed what became, for a time, a well-known “peace movement” slogan:

“War is not healthy for children and other living things.”

Now, with the many anti-Trump demonstrations morphing into riots in our cities —with arson, property damage and looting in places like Portland OR, Oakland CA, and Indianapolis—I think we should update that slogan:

Riots are not healthy for children and other living things.”

What’s A Riot To Do With?

To people of common sense, a political demonstration might make all the sense in the world.

It is a time-honored way to oppose wrong policies and to produce a flesh-and-blood show of the strength of support for what you believe.

But people of common sense see riots as just plain “senseless.”

Blocking traffic?

Opening up a store windows with bricks and looting?

Setting dumpsters on fire?

Beating people up?

Yelling “Kill the Cops?”

Menacing residential streets with loaded guns?

Luring out a host of misguided students to use as riot fodder?

Risking setting fire to entire neighborhoods?

Yikes!

You’ve got to admit — rioting is risky for “children and other living things” in those cities.

There is a discerning fellow who for years has been writing under the name of “Sundance” in an online blog called The Conservative Treehouse.

Over time, I have come to consider his “take” on unfolding events very seriously.

Two days after the Tuesday election, on Thursday, November 10, Sundance wrote about the Trump-Obama White House meeting that day.

He looked past the famous handshake and zeroed in on the big-city demonstrations and riots which had begun on the previous Wednesday and have continued since.

Asked Sundance–

“That raises the question ‘why organize the protests’?  The answer therein outlines how severely the Obama and Clinton groups estimate the risk.  They are trying to save themselves through a process of applying leverage against the risk that Donald Trump represents.

In essence Obama/Clinton agents are undermining Trump’s possible action against them by creating a narrative where the best play for President Trump is to allow the usurping agents to creep away, albeit with suitcases of cash, quietly into the night; and avoid sunlight upon their prior unlawful activity.

The meeting today between the victor Donald Trump and the defeated Barack Obama is essentially a meeting to discuss the terms of surrender.  President Obama is seeking safe passage and amnesty for prior usurpation.

In the meeting today President Obama, and by extension Hillary Clinton, are requesting safe passage using the leverage of they’ll burn down the nation if not provided – hence the protests needed last night.” (Highlighting Forum’s throughout.)

Sundance anticipated last Thursday that we would see one of two paths coming out of the Obama Administration’s brinkmanship:

  • “If the ridiculous election protests continue again tonight, then President Obama has not called them off.  That means he and Clinton received no substantive assurances, and are worried about being held to account – prosecuted and investigated.
  • If the ridiculous election protest do not happen again tonight, then President Obama has called them off.  That means he and Clinton feel more comfortable they will not be held to account – prosecuted and investigated.”

The demonstrations and riots, of course, have continued.

John Perazzo writing in Front Page Magazine reflects:

“From reading the various mainstream media accounts of these events, one comes away with the distinct impression that they are grassroots actions that began organically among ordinary, concerned, well-meaning citizens.

But alas, if one were to think that, one would be wrong.”

Front Page Magazine, founded by the venerable leftist-turned-conservative David Horowitz, includes a vast accumulation of research on how the Political Left (both individuals and organizations) have operated over by now several generations.

Horowitz calls this invaluable resource  “Discover the Networks (DTN)”

Perazzo draws on DTN to sketch a kind of wiring diagram of the organizational spark plugs that “orchestrated” today’s anti-Trump riots—

“Contrary to media misrepresentations, many of the supposedly spontaneous, organic, anti-Trump protests we have witnessed in cities from coast to coast were in fact carefully planned and orchestrated, in advance, by a pro-Communist organization called the ANSWER Coalition, which draws its name from the acronym for ‘Act Now to Stop War and End Racism.’

ANSWER was established in 2001 by Ramsey Clark’s International Action Center, a group staffed in large part by members of the Marxist-Leninist Workers World Party. In 2002, the libertarian author Stephen Suleyman Schwartz described ANSWER as an “ultra-Stalinist network” whose members served as ‘active propaganda agents for Serbia, Iraq, and North Korea, as well as Cuba, countries they repeatedly visit and acclaim.’

Since its inception, ANSWER has consistently depicted the United States as a racist, sexist, imperialistic, militaristic nation guilty of unspeakable crimes against humanity—in other words, a wellspring of pure evil.

When ANSWER became a leading organizer of the massive post-9/11 demonstrations against the Patriot Act and the U.S. invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, it formed alliances with other likeminded entities such as Not In Our Name (a project of the Revolutionary Communist Party) and United For Peace and Justice (a pro-Castro group devoted to smearing America as a cesspool of bigotry and oppression).”

Perazzo sums up–

“In short, the anti-Trump protests that are currently making headlines are 100% contrived, fake, phony exhibitions of street theater, orchestrated entirely by radicals and revolutionaries whose chief objective is to push America ever farther to the political left. Moreover, they seek to utterly demoralize conservatives into believing that public opposition to their own (conservative) political and social values is growing more powerful, more passionate, and more widespread with each passing day.”

So there you have it on riots as continuing and dangerous gaslighting* theater of our politics today.

We will see how the demonstrations and riots** play out at the Inauguration… and then throughout the Trump Administration.

It’s going to be a very long war to restore our Republic.
