UPDATED WITH YOUTUBE! Eric Cantor Reaps A Whirlwind of Conservative Outrage

MAY 29 UPDATE YOUTUBE!  David Brat May 28 Press Conference on Immigration here.

As many of us know, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor faces challenger David Brat in the upcoming June 10 Virginia 7 GOP primary.

Amnesty and Big Immigration are central issues in this challenge by leanly funded conservative candidate Brat.

Mr. Cantor has been a national GOP force behind Big Immigration for some time.

In a shameless display of mendacity, Eric Cantor now claims to be the barrier against opening our borders.

But let’s hear, via The Right Scoop, the story here: Mark Levin SLAMS Cantor for lying “through his teeth” to voters about amnesty in order to win primary.

And today challenger Brat struck back — Breitbart’s gives us the details here

“Eric Cantor’s primary challenger David Brat ripped the Majority Leader as ‘the number one Republican supporter of amnesty’ in a dramatic press conference steps away from a rival event by a liberal Democrat intended to paint Cantor as the face of GOP intransigence on immigration.
The day after Cantor portrayed himself as an anti-amnesty warrior in campaign literature, Brat accused Cantor of coordinating with Democratic Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), the Democrat holding the rival press conference, to provide him political cover in his moment of greatest need.
Cantor, Brat noted, had previously visited sites with Gutierrez in a pro-immigration reform tour. ‘You would have to be pretty gullible not to see a link there,’ Brat said.”

Leahy continued–

“Brat also challenged Cantor to sign a new pledge from an anti-amnesty group. If Cantor is such an anti-amnesty stalwart, Brat asked, ‘Why hasn’t Cantor signed the no amnesty pledge circulated by FAIR? Has Eric Cantor ever met with ICE officers?”
“‘I am calling on Eric Cantor to make public all corporate executives and lobbyists he has met with [to] discuss cheap labor,’ he added.”
Last April 16, Ann Coulter cautioned here in her Daily Caller post “Back any candidate you want as long as it’s one of these three”
“Republicans aren’t at much risk of losing any of these seats, with or without primary fights. But we’ll lose them all within a decade if Republicans like Tillis, Ellmers and Cantor aren’t stopped.”

Tea Partiers and grass-roots organizations need to provide the Brat Campaign, right away, with volunteers for the ground game.

Stopping Cantor will send a very strong message.

Enacting amnesty and consequent Big Immigration, on the other hand, will not only result in losing “safe” Republican seats.  These massive changes will soon create a society where small government and constitutional principles have few adherents — and Tea Parties and grass-roots conservative organizations even fewer recruits. Forget about any incremental patriotic assimilation.

Mark Krikorian and Phyllis Schlafly (at 03:30 here) detail amnesty’s consequences to our way of life in their video presentation, “Amnesty and Open Borders: The End of America – and the GOP,” taped March 6 at the National Security Action Summit.
