Of course, ISNA means the Islamic Society of North America. And its president Imam Mohamed Magid click here is the executive director of the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS).
Faithful readers will hardly be surprised to learn (via Creeping Shariah) that the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) Center hosted (click on Politico article here) a ‘Town Hall” meeting for president Obama’s campaign representative. The center plans on hosting another gathering this Saturday for Virginia Democratic Senate hopeful Tim Kaine (click here).
“The ADAMS Center in Sterling will be holding Town Hall meetings with the Obama and Kaine campaigns. Brian Moran will be the guest for the Obama campaign Town Hall, Sunday, Oct. 14 at 5 p.m. Tim Kaine himself will be at the Center for a Town Hall meeting Saturday, Oct. 20 at 3 p.m.”
([Walid] Shoebat). “Yesterday [August 11] we commented on the news that President Barack Obama defended Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s closest adviser, Huma Abedin, at the White House Iftar dinner on August 10th. [Forum’s highlighting.] What we didn’t know is that Huma was seated next to the President of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), Mohamed Magid. The two seemed to be engaged in some friendly conversation and quite comfortable with one another. This is the same ISNA that was not only listed as a Muslim Brotherhood front group that seeks the overthrow of the U.S. Government from within, but also an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial. A 1991 document, penned by a Muslim Brotherhood leader identified the ISNA as a member group.
Here is the exact quote from that document that is perhaps the most alarming:
‘The Ikhwan (Muslim Brotherhood) must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.’ “
No one who has been following the Obama Administration’s policies in the Middle East should be surprised that the ADAMS Center and the leadership of the Democratic Party are close.
Virginia GOP insiders, however, should urge Republican Virginia Senate hopeful George Allen to:
Support the June 13 requests of “Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (MN-06) and Congressmen Trent Franks (AZ-02), Louie Gohmert (TX-01), Tom Rooney (FL-16) and Lynn Westmoreland (GA-03) [who] sent letters to the Inspectors General of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice and the Department of State. These letters seek answers about the U.S. government’s involvement with the Muslim Brotherhood [MB], a group that calls for ‘civilization jihad.’”
Support — without qualification — our First Amendment free-speech rights against any Islamist “blasphemy” demands.
Oppose this or any future administration’s effort to release to Egypt convicted terrorist Blind Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman.
By doing so, Mr. Allen could clear up reasonable doubts among Republicans and conservatives about his judgment on the Islamist threat.
